The Mass Mind 2

Propaganda and the Mass Mind

The mass mind is driven by propaganda. Considering the sensitivity of the prole to the “zeitgeist,” its adherence to conformity, it’s not hard to understand how to manipulate the public.

If you don’t “go with the flow,” “go along to get along,” and toe the line, following the official narrative, you’re castigated, outcast... All this both reinforces the mass mind and defines it.

So we generally try to attune ourselves to that zeitgeist, the prevailing mood, as a defensive and a collaborative mechanism.

This is a perhaps universal flaw in people’s character, letting others do our thinking for us. Is it lack of confidence/insecurity? Learned helplessness? Or are we a creation, a construct, a slave race, bred to servitude? It’s not hard to believe, because in our current state, we are obviously too helpless and dependent to have created even a flawed and tottering society of our own initiative.

Slavery

Our masters must know that slavery is very inefficient. People are not used to their best advantage, where they can contribute most, when restricted to servitude. So they’ve gifted us with stealth slavery. The mass mind considers this mode of slavery to be the pinnacle of freedom, to be defended at all costs.

But stealth slavery doesn’t hold up either, and reverts back to open slavery, since it just seems “easier” to our masters to become dictatorial as old lessons are forgotten over generations.

Slogans

“Land, not structure, is what’s valuable.” Thanks to a reader for bringing up that ridiculous old myth for analysis and dispelling. That slogan, used ad nauseam, is employed to excuse high real estate prices. Usable land itself is “structured,” in that it has been cleared and developed, with an access road, supplied with utilities, and so on. Foundations for buildings, landscaping, and other modifications mean considerable effort is required to tailor the land to usefulness. Left on its own it will revert to a worthless tangled mess, and if vacant, especially in a city, it is a tax liability with negative value. To put it another way, land is as needy as your structure. So, no, “land” by itself is not valuable, but a nuisance.

“Land is what’s valuable,” is just another of those slogans that prove the mass mind is an idiot — and that pukey sayings have a lot of power. Among other falsehoods, we have:

“Can’t yell fire in a crowded theater.”

“Proper communism hasn’t been tried.”

funny Commies

It’s a very potent thing, to think we have some kernel of universal truth. It makes us feel smart, maybe a little superior. So these earworms are an effective short-circuiting of rational thought processes.

Sometimes, though, a saying/slogan is true — and we don’t act as if it is. We don’t understand, “watch what someone does, not what they say,” because we don’t follow it, and continue to believe every BS artist under the sun. Every way we turn seems to be in the wrong direction.

Freedom

Relying on the mass mind to denigrate freedom is a reliable strategy.

The mass mind is conditioned to respond only to the urging and demands of our masters. Are you really a man or woman if all you are is a zombie, obeying endlessly?

As for speech and “expression,” like making art, and published or filmed works, freedom means you have absolute freedom to express what you want, except where it infringes on someone else’s freedom. This isn’t a hard concept, but most of the world cannot grasp it. Infringement really only applies when libel or slander is involved. That is to say, restriction on expression applies to your deliberate lies about another, not truths or good-faith beliefs. But, again, people don’t understand that, or don’t want to understand.

Not only should there be freedom of speech, but there should be requirement of speech. That is, all government, all public corporations, should expose all the secrets they’ve been keeping locked away from us. Where exactly, specifically, does all tax money go? They don’t publish that publicly. Would it not be of interest? Why are they allowed to work in secrecy?

More Subversion

Those who want to destroy your freedom engage in things like pumping out child grooming books to normalize various perversions at a young age. These are being force-fed to bookstores, schools, libraries. Do they demonstrate a “flaw” in “our freedom of speech?”

If there were full freedom of speech and expression, we’d know all the names of the deviants behind this little game they’re playing, all the government lackeys that were aiding and abetting this scummy enterprise, which would nip the entire con in the bud.

This denigration of freedom of speech is a long-term subversive “op.” Let’s look at one of the biggest, most scandalous, lies that they get away with constantly.

“You can’t yell ‘Fire!’ in a crowded theater!” the demonic harpies screech, all the time.

In freedom, of course you can yell it to your heart’s content.

What if there’s a fire? “Oh,” say the simps, “then you can.”

What if you smell smoke? Should you wait until your tootsies are starting to smolder to take action?

That’s the low-hanging stuff. But what if you have the impulse to do an impromptu fire drill in that theater? “Only officials can do that!” sputter the simps.

But they don’t do that, conduct such fire drills in public movie theaters.

Better they do not, for, officials might start doing fire drills just as a conditioning exercise to get you even further beholden to “authority.” As they will, like back in the 1950’s, with their ludicrous theater of forcing frightened children to hide under their school desks, supposedly as “protection” against an atomic blast!

Any “official” drill is probably pointless since it’s done with foreknowledge, when what we require is a drill that comes as a surprise, or it’s no drill at all. In fact, there have been cases where there was an actual fire, someone yelled a warning, and it was ignored. Perhaps we need more practice.

Anyway, if we’re going to have freedom, including freedom of speech, we tackle any such subtle sabotage and denigration on the spot. And we discuss scenarios like this. Particularly the so-called “absurd” ones. We teach people, “rules if someone yells ‘fire’ in a crowded theater.” Some people could be designated proctors to stand up, and point to where the exits are. They could send scouts to check for perils, and conduct an orderly, row-by-row, exit by a confirmed safe path.

Now, if some prankster, out of malice, starts exploiting his “freedom,” it’s simple enough to deal with. The offender could be banned by the theater. Hulloooo! Let us remind that yelling “fire” falsely isn’t a freedom if it becomes an infringement on others. If someone’s abuse of their freedom results in injuries or damages, they are liable.

Cheats and sneaks exploit any opportunity to try to deny you your rights. Keep that in mind when they start flaunting their latest pet, “hate speech,” or “inflammatory speech.” We should welcome such speech, as a celebration of freedom. Much like we should welcome so-called “incendiary speech,” “likely to cause a riot.” That’s where the despicable political con-artists are “drawing their line in the sand.” If we’re going to support freedom of speech, of course there is no such thing as incendiary speech. So ridiculous. If speech is likely to cause a riot, what are the circumstances that are in play that would tend to support that reaction? And would the reaction be justified? No one thinks to ask.

Begging the Question

Another toxic truism is found in the Evolution farce. Nonsense like, “We evolved in a harsh climate where being expelled from the tribe meant death, so that’s why northern (white) people have altruism and are compliant to authority.”

There are lots of crooks and frauds among “the northern people,” so the idea doesn’t hold up that there is a neurotic fear of expulsion. Besides there are lots of whites in warmer climates, like southern Europe, Australia, southern U.S.A. and southern Russia, and so on.

This force-feeding of the Evolution crock as a given truth is one of the most foul cons. They push it to the point where it is embedded into your brain like a devouring worm. We see the same thing with the false dichotomy mindworm, where you’re forced to “pick a side,” on everything (flat vs. ball earth, for example), thereby short-circuiting the proper procedure, which is to say, “We don’t know.”

We seek simple solutions, so jumping on the bandwagon, as with the “Evolution explains everything” malarkey, is in our natures, and something the mass mind swine exploit.

The facile, comic book logic pervades everything. Something that glibly explains everything, explains nothing, and there’s a fundamental gap in reasoning to be so accepting. It’s a dead end, shutting down scientific thought and curiosity before it can flourish, which is, of course, the intent.

Understanding and Misunderstanding

A good example of misunderstanding, is found in a YouTube video which mentioned that women surveyed thought that 80% of men were below average. It should be clear to everyone that a large percentage are around average, with small percentages notably above and below average. A telling example of “people unclear on the concept,” which is pretty bad, considering how simple a concept we’re dealing with. Which raises the question, what other simple concepts are people choking on?

Well, there’s misunderstanding what constitutes an “answer to a question,” which has got to be one of the worst, very damaging to society. We discussed the preposterous, “Change” catchword Obama was using during his campaign. The fact that it wasn’t mocked mercilessly shows there are deep problems in comprehension across a vast swath of the population. Mouthing the word, “Change!” doesn’t act as a remedy to our political problems, no matter how deeply you Believe in your swarthy savior.

A proper answer to a question fully explains the solution to the problem, leaving no new, open questions, and utilizes no hand-waving, misdirection or vague or undefined references. Hey, what a concept!

Propaganda and Fake Education

School, along with constant media propaganda, help mold the mass mind. What is worrying is that there is very little concern about it, which points to the obvious fact that parents are also complicit in the brainwashing, passing their twisted beliefs on to their progeny. And so the mass mind thrives.

Characteristics of the Mass Mind

The Mass Mind Does Not Understand Hypocrisy

They put Pedro Pascal, a Chilean, as a main character in a recent superhero movie, race-swapping what is supposed to be a white guy with a latino. We’re still waiting for the bleating shrieks of, “Cultural appropriation! Cultural appropriation!” which never come in cases like this.

Pedro cosplay

Well of course we won’t hear anything like that, since the mass mind can only respond to its programming, and doesn’t actually understand concepts like hypocrisy, except in a flawed way, the way it’s told to understand.

The Mass Mind Doesn’t Think or Question

We discussed the San Francisco Millennium Tower (M.T.) debacle, but didn’t discuss this fascinating aspect. Let’s ask Google A.I.:

Doesn’t the presence of the collapsing Millennium Tower pose a danger to Salesforce tower San Francisco, lower its value and increase insurance rates?

While the Millennium Tower's issues don't directly threaten the structural integrity of the Salesforce Tower, its ongoing problems and negative publicity do impact property values and insurance rates in the surrounding area, including the Salesforce Tower. Specifically, lenders may be hesitant to finance properties near a building with a reputation for sinking and tilting, and insurance premiums for the area could increase due to the perceived risk.

Oh.

So why do the surrounding properties tolerate that disaster-in-waiting to loom around there? If it weren’t sad, it’d be comical, because that hellhole is not anchored. Since it is still sinking and tilting, it is only tethered to the ground!

Also, are all geologists, structural engineers, architects and the like, liars, or just plain nuts? Because in the event of an earthquake, there will be liquefaction and the M.T. must certainly tumble. Or not? What’s the point of all these professional titles then, if they can’t even give a conclusive answer to something so pressing, and relatively simple? But wait — a lot of those professionals have explained the danger, yet no one is demolishing that white elephant.

Interesting problem. As with other swindles, will the insurance companies pass the losses onto the saps? This itself opens a can of worms. Can the insurers be secure they would survive to jack those premiums? Should the tower tumble they could be faced with fantastic payouts.

tilted view from Millennium Tower

The risk isn’t only from a complete collapse. Remember, this thing only has a little bit to go before elevators and plumbing become unusable, and the building will have to be vacated. There were already windows and broken glass falling off the thing, a potentially fatal hazard, making it a miracle no one was injured or killed.

Because the mass mind doesn’t understand hypocrisy, few even recognize the crisis, let alone demand the tower be leveled. Yet other perils, many of them much less threatening, create a huge uproar.

For an abstract example, suppose you had someone randomly firing a gun in the middle of the city, left and right, up and down. Fortunately, no one got killed. Would the official and public reaction be to do nothing except shake a finger at the shooter and tell him to “clean up his act... or else?”

The mass mind never questions, especially questions like this. Perhaps worse, when someone does raise the question, the mass mind rejects it. Making the mass mind a destructive force for evil.

The mass mind turns human beings into human garbage. And stop pretending that human life means anything to the mass mind.

We saw a good example of this with the Ford Motor Company’s premeditated murder scheme to save a few bucks. No public outrage. Now, another obvious example with the M.T. No indignation, no teeming masses of protesters.

There are criminal invaders assaulting and murdering in Euro countries, and they are coddled by the state, and even by a segment of the population. They aren’t even jailing some of the rapists and murderers, with a new line, “Oh, that’s just their culture.” No outcry and frenzied bleating feminists stalking the streets over that.

The Mass Mind Never Learns

Recall that deceiving little minx who pioneered a revolutionary new health diagnostic test, Elizabeth Holmes? (And one trembles at the thought of what a transvestigation of the caboose of that high-collar hussy would reveal.) It seems pointless even if anyone does remember, because nothing was learned from that debacle. People, burdened by the mass mind, still don’t understand there are ongoing cons right now, just like that one. Some of those are so exploitative of the flaws of the mass mind, they’ll probably never be revealed

Which is to say, we’re all being suckered, at this very moment, with things similar to Holmes’ Theranos, Inc. fraud, like the Quantum Computing con. Yet people can be told it’s a chiseling fake, and they’ll ignore the information, or say, “It wouldn’t be on the news if it were fake!”

Readers here know, but the mass mind never will, that open-ended, vague or unspecified claims are always to be disregarded (like “Quantum Computing,” where they can and do make any boasts they want and tout any successes they want). Like, Obama’s “Change.” Like the Elon Musk blather we looked at last article, about how A.I. “may rewrite physics next year.” If it were from a more serious source, we’d also know what to do: get concrete predictions and time frames down in writing and hold the claimant responsible when due.

Exploiting Flaws

“I’m All Grown Up Now!”

The mass mind is nurtured via exploitation of our human failings. One of the big ones is our need to be “mature,” or at least perceived as such.

We don’t progress much from when we were children, and wanted to be big boys and girls.

Given the chance, most people will regress into an odd mix of arrogant self-righteousness, stubbornness, pugnacity, petulance. They’re going to stand their ground and they won’t back down. It proves to themselves how mature they are!

This putrid, puerile response shows up, every time they get baited with this “Flat Earth vs. Ball Earth” nonsense, which we can be sure is being used as a reliable distraction/red herring to derail thought and intelligent conversation, and foster hostility. Inevitably, a self-styled “authority,” who can be most anyone, jumps in to condemn the “ignorant flat-earthers,” and the flat earthers will denigrate the “round-earthers.” When, as we’ve noted, the correct response to this type of nonsense is, “we just don’t know,” allowing anyone with a modicum of intelligence to avoid the non-productive, asinine debate in the first place.

And that is something worthwhile to debate; that is, when to use that tool of “I don’t know.” There are a lot of time wasters: discussion of “space travel” and “aliens,” “Evolution,” applied quantum mechanics stuff — like so-called “quantum computing,” the far future, the origin and ultimate fate of the universe. All nonsense.

So here is another tool for the toolbox, this one to tell if someone is a waste of your life to deal with. Such dweebs are identified, not so much if they want to staunchly debate stupid topics, but if they cannot learn, once explained to them, the powerful principle of saying, “We don’t know.”

Appeal to Greed: The Minimum Wage Con

Unemployment inevitably increases under minimum wage mandates. Meanwhile, more workers appear, chasing the higher nominal wages, in a double-whammy of stupidity. Again “wage laws” are not laws at all, they’re unlawful government edicts, turning the actual minimum wage to zero for a lot of people.

“The rich can afford it.” Sure, but that doesn’t mean they will. They’ll possibly move, and certainly cut non-profitable positions, the only rational action. And the small employers will have to drop staff, or may be regulated out of business.

And of course minimum wage requirements act as motive for under-the-table work and so foster illegal immigrant employment, further undercutting your native workers.

It is noted that these “minimum wage laws” are popular anyway, despite their destructiveness, another folly of the mass mind.

More Tricks

DST Trick

Daylight saving time is another mass mind trick that everyone should have rallied against. It is proven nonsense that only serves to make people think anti-scientifically.

But they’re so desperate to browbeat children into their sick “Prussian Model” of regimentation and conditioning, to make them obedient servants for our masters, that they have ruled that school hours must model adult working hours. Instead, they should vary school hours with the sun, so children are neither going to school nor returning from school when it’s dark or twilight.

Jobs

The Jobs (2013) movie was interesting. Steve Jobs, of Apple Computer, was shown being fired (well, getting ousted from his own company), and there were paeans with great orchestral crescendos from the soundtrack. Imagine this fanfare for some slob routinely getting canned from the assembly line. No one would care, no great drama to be milked there, no parades of the teary-eyed. It’s okay to casually give the boot to the average worker. But isn’t getting fired just as devastating for that grubber? It appears that we, programmed by the mass mind, are prejudiced into weighing people’s “greatness” to assess how we’ll respond to them! It’s a subtle form of conditioning to only show compassion to the travails of the special people.
